This course enables learners to describe special-type roller, tracked and wheeled vehicles and the legal requirements relating to driving these vehicles on a road. Learners also describe driving procedures and general considerations for driving a special-type roller, tracked or wheeled vehicle safely on a road; and demonstrate procedures for driving a special-type roller, tracked or wheeled vehicle safely and legally on a road.

This course equips learners with the knowledge to describe special-type roller, tracked, and wheeled vehicles and the legal requirements for driving these vehicles on a road. Learners also develop the skills to describe and demonstrate safe driving procedures and considerations for operating these vehicles safely and legally on a road.
The course includes extended coaching and hands-on exercises in a VR simulator to perform common tasks. Learners are introduced to common hazards encountered on construction sites and best practice techniques to mitigate these risks.
