This course enables learners to explain the types of work permits, understand the roles of those involved in the work permit system, and meet the requirements for receiving a work permit.
The course covers the preparatory requirements when applying for a work permit, accepting a work permit, and undertaking work under the permit. Learners will also understand and implement the controls and actions required at the end of a work period or upon completion of work.

- The permit receiver course is designed for both company personnel and contractors who will be receiving work permits in a workplace.
- Ideally students should have a sound understanding of the risk assessment process, understand their company specific permit to work procedures and be aware of site-specific risks.
