This course equips learners with the skills to perform atmospheric testing in potentially hazardous environments. Learners gain the ability to interpret and respond to test results, ensuring a safe working atmosphere.

Learners may also complete Unit Standard 3058 – Demonstrate knowledge of gas testing and perform gas tests in an energy and chemical plant (additional cost). This unit can be delivered at your organisation upon request. Please email contactus@impac.co.nz if you are interested in completing this.

  • Safety officers, site supervisors, and workers involved in industries where the potential for hazardous atmospheric conditions exists.
  • Sectors including but not limited to construction, mining, petrochemical, and confined space operations.
  • Ideal candidates are those responsible for health and safety within their workplace, requiring a deep understanding of atmospheric hazards, testing procedures, and compliance with safety standards and legislation.
