This course equips learners with the knowledge to safely handle, store, and dispose of hazardous substances, manage emergencies, and minimize exposure risks. Learners gain insight into regulatory requirements and best practices for health and safety management.
Learners will also be able to identify health and safety risks associated with workplace chemicals, and identify, select, and apply the legislated and other controls designed to minimise workers' exposure to these risks. It also ensures proper reporting procedures are followed.
This course aligns with Regulation 4.5 of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017, ensuring compliance for workers at risk of exposure.
