This theory and practical, one-day course equips participants with the essential skills to safely select, use, and inspect height safety equipment in the workplace. Learners will gain confidence in identifying suitable anchors, understanding fall restraint and arrest systems, and developing basic rescue and emergency response plans.
The course is ideal for anyone required to work at height as part of their job, including maintenance, cleaning, inspection, and service personnel.
- General industry workers who may need to use height safety equipment occasionally (e.g. maintenance, cleaning, plant operation, building inspections).
- Supervisors and team leaders overseeing work at height activities in non-construction environments.
- Facilities, utilities, and service staff working at heights under supervision where fixed or temporary systems are in place.
