This course provides participants with the knowledge and practical skills to safely use, install, and disestablish temporary proprietary height safety systems. It covers identifying safe anchor points, rigging horizontal and vertical systems, using fall arrest and restraint systems correctly, and disestablishing equipment in line with workplace and manufacturer procedures.
Learners will gain a clear understanding of the legal and safety requirements for working at height under the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and AS/NZS 1891 Standards. The course combines classroom theory with hands-on practical assessment to ensure competence in real-world height safety applications.

- Construction and maintenance personnel who install or work using temporary height safety systems (e.g. roofers, scaffolders, maintenance technicians).
- Supervisors and site managers who oversee work at height requiring proprietary systems.
- Specialist contractors working with short-term fall arrest, work positioning, or rope-based safety systems.
- Telecommunications, utilities, and facilities workers engaged in temporary access or service activities at height.
